Leeni Hansson
Leeni Hansson, PhD, is Senior Research Fellow at the Institute of International and Social Studies (IISS), Tallinn University, Estonia. She has participated in several research projects funded by the European Commission, Nordic Council of Ministers and Estonian Science Foundation in the area of gender studies, family studies and female employment studies. She is involved in a national survey 'Work, Family and Leisure' carried out since 1985 with the 5-years interval. She is an author of the book Networks Matter: The Role of Informal Social Networks in the Period of Reforms in Estonia in the 1990s (Jyvskyl: University of Jyvskyl Press, 2001), co-author of the book Estonian Families of the 1990s: Winners and Losers (Tallinn: Estonian Academy of Sciences Publishers, 1999) and editor of several books published in Estonian in 2001-2009. She is a member of the editorial board of the journal Ariadne's Clew: Estonian Journal of Gender Studies.
