Jane Pilcher, University of Leicester

Jane Pilcher is Lecturer in Sociology at the University of Leicester. She is author of Age and Generation in Modern Britain (1995, Oxford University Press) and co-editor of Thatcher's Children? Politics, Childhood and Society in the 1980s and 1990s (1996, Falmer Press). Her next book Women of Their Time? is due to be published by Ashgate in 1998.
