Biography: Stephen Gorard

Stephen Gorard, School of Education, University of Wales Cardiff

Stephen Gorard has been a secondary school teacher and deputy head for thirteen years, and a researcher as part of the ESRC-funded Learning Society Programme to identify the social determinants of adult participation in education and training in Wales. He is now a lecturer in research methods at the School of Education, University of Wales Cardiff. His main research interest is parental choice of schools, which was the subject of his PhD.
