Nigel Gilbert, University of Surrey

Nigel Gilbert is Professor of Sociology at the Department of Sociology, University of Surrey. He has written on the sociology of science, on research methods and social statistics, on the environment and, most recently, on the use of computer simulation methods in the social sciences. He is Director of the Centre for Research on Simulation in the Social Sciences. He also chairs the Management Board of Sociological Research Online.
