At the beginning, the architect’s CAD drawing is behind the landscape architects' plan. Geoff opens the meeting:

During these first few seconds of the session, Geoff and his colleagues establish a feel for the environment they are in. When Geoff looks at Andy on the wall (3), Andy is looking at his panel. Prompted by Geoff’s ‘here Mr. Architect’, he turns to look at Geoff on the wall. The next exchange (3-6) sees Geoff ‘check’ whether Andy is directing, and is able to direct, attention to Geoff’s gestures. After this has been established - by looking (*) - Geoff is ‘away’, explaining the motivation behind the landscape architects’ design decisions. From there he moves on to their design plan.
