R. David Smith

R. David Smith was born in the UK and took his doctorate in sociology at the University of Toronto (Canada) in 1980. Since then he has taught in various places including the University of Toronto, York University (Toronto), and Kwansei Gakuin University (Japan) among others. He has also served with the Law Reform Commission of Canada as a special consultant on matters related to medical ethics and genetic engineering. He currently lives in Toronto.
