Sanna Aaltonen

Dr Sanna Aaltonen is a sociologist by discipline and received her PhD from University of Helsinki. She works as a senior researcher at the Finnish Youth Research Network that is part of the Finnish Youth Research Society. Her current research focuses on young people as clients of welfare services and she asks what is their scope and sense of agency within services. She publishes both in Finnish and in English. Currently she is a board member of the Youth and Generation Research Network of the European Sociological Association.
