Ming-Chang Tsai
Ming-Chang Tsa previously served as editor of the Taiwanese Journal of Sociology and president of the Taiwanese Sociological Association. He is currently Vice-president of the Research Committee of Social Indicators (RC 55) of the International Sociological Association, and Vice-President for the International Society for Quality of Life Studies. His current research interests are quality of life comparisons in East Asian countries, microglobalization, and cosmopolitan values.

Rueyling Tzeng is a research fellow at the Institute of European and American Studies of Academia Sinica, Taiwan. She received her doctoral degree from the State University of New York at Stony Brook. Her work has appeared in International Migration Review, International Sociology, Asian Population Studies, and Gender in Management: An International Journal (formerly Women in Management Review). Her current research focus on western migrant entrepreneurs in Taiwan.
