Gerald Griggs
Dr Gerald Griggs is a Senior Lecturer in Physical Education and Sports Studies at the University of Wolverhampton. Gerald initially trained as a primary teacher, teaching for five years in primary schools in Suffolk and West Sussex. He left primary teaching to study for a Masters at the University of Warwick, where he was awarded the National Grid scholarship. Upon completion Gerald entered Higher Education and taught at Newman University College, Birmingham. He has been at the University of Wolverhampton since 2006 in which time he has published two books and a wide range of International peer reviewed journals.

Gavin Ward
Gavin Ward is Senior Lecturer at the University of Wolverhampton with research interests in Primary and Secondary Physical Education pedagogy. Prior to this he taught Physical Education across Key Stages 1 to 4 and 6th form for fourteen years at a range of educational institutions, serving contrasting communities both in the UK and abroad. Before joining the University of Wolverhampton, Gavin worked as a Partnership Development Manager, based at Idsall School and Sports College in Shifnal, Shropshire
