Lorena Muñoz
Lorena Muñoz is an assistant professor in the department of Geography at the University of Minnesota. She received her PhD in geography from the University of Southern California in Los Angeles in 2008. Professor Muñoz is an urban/cultural geographer whose research focuses on the intersections of place, space, gender, sexuality and race. She currently researches the performance of gendered and queer identities among Latina immigrant women workers in Los Angeles, and minority students access to Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics.
