Katy Pilcher
Katy Pilcher's research focuses on erotic labour and women as consumers of sexualised entertainment, with recent and forthcoming publications including pieces in Sexualities, Leisure Studies, and Journal of International Women's Studies. In addition to her doctoral research in the Sociology Department at the University of Warwick, Katy works as a Research Associate in the Department of Political Science and International Studies at the University of Birmingham. She is working with Dr Nicola Smith on a Leverhulme-funded project on the Political Economy of Male and Transgender Sex Work in the UK and The Netherlands.
