Peter Dickens
Peter Dickens is an environmental sociologist. He has written 10 books and many academic papers and book-chapters. His book 'Society and Nature' received an Outstanding Publication Award from the American Sociological Association in 2006. With James Ormrod he recently published 'Cosmic Society. Towards a Sociology of the Universe'(Routledge 2007, 2009). He currently co-teaches 'the sociology of the universe' at the University of Brighton.
