Jo Haynes
Jo Haynes' research explores how processes of racialization are constituted within the cultural field, particularly in relation to the consumption and production of music. Her wider research interests include sociological approaches to media and technology, and racism/disdvantage in education. She also has an interest and teaching expertise in research methodologies, including the use of software in qualitative data analysis.

Demelza Jones
Demelza Jones' research explores expressions of Tamil identity amongst UK diasporas, in relation to concepts of elite and everyday versions of nationalism and identity formation. She is especially interested in diversity and difference amongst the Tamil population, and how this is negotiated in relation to dominant nationalist discourses of trans-national Tamil ethnic identity. Her wider fields of interest include migration and diaspora, ethnicity, identity and nationalism, South Asian area studies and minority rights.
