Lee F. Monaghan is Senior Lecturer in Sociology, University of Limerick. He has written two monographs published by Routledge and is currently working on two books. One is an edited collection on medical sociology (Sage, with Jonathan Gabe) and the other is a co-authored book on masculinities, bodies and physical cultures (Ashgate, with Michael Atkinson). Lee favours qualitative research and has explored topics ranging from bodybuilding and drug use to obesity discourse.
