Julie van Kemenade
Julie van Kemenade spent 20 years working within the voluntary/charities sector, working with, or on behalf of, disadvantaged people. She then became interested in environmental problems, and, still within the voluntary sector, became a researcher in environmental issues. Eventually, she returned to university to undertake a PhD in food politics and environmental philosophy, which she hopes to complete in the not too distant future.
