Terence Heng
Terence Heng is an academic associate at the Centre for Culture and Communication, Republic Polytechnic and principal photographer at Hurricadia Photography. He recently graduated from Goldsmiths, University of London where he completed the United Kingdom's first PhD in Visual Sociology. His thesis focussed on the mechanisms of ethnicity-making amongst Chinese Singaporeans and their wedding rituals. His research interests include virtual and visual methodologies and race and ethnicity amongst diasporic individuals.
