Lisa Garforth

Lisa Garforth is a lecturer in sociology at Newcastle University. She was the field researcher on the UK team of the KNOWING: Knowledge, Institutions and Gender project, and has published findings from the study on women and science policies (with Anne Kerr), and on everyday times and career trajectories in knowledge work (with Alice Červinková).

Anne Kerr

Anne Kerr is professor of sociology at the University of Leeds. Her research interests are primarily in the area of reproduction, gender and science, and she has published widely on the dynamics of expertise and social and ethical aspects of genetics in particular.
