John Martyn Chamberlain

Martyn Chamberlain is a Lecturer in Criminology and Sociology at the University of Chester. He possesses a long standing research interest in the relationships that exist between health policy formation, professional governance frameworks and contemporary shifts in criminal justice policy and practice; including the impact of the Shipman case upon the governance and quality assurance of professional forms of expertise. His book 'Doctoring Medical Governance: Medical Self-Regulation in Transition' will be published in 2010 by Nova Science: New York.
