Jonathan Clifton has a PhD in Applied Linguistics from Antwerp University. He currently teaches business English and business communication in the Faculty of Applied Foreign Languages at the University of Lille, 3, France. His research interests include identities in talk and the use of conversation analysis to study workplace interaction.
