Dr Julie Brownlie is a senior lecturer in sociology at the University of Stirling. She is currently carrying out an ESRC funded study on beliefs and practices about emotions talk. Recent publications include an edited collection, with A. Howson and A Greene, Researching Trust and Health (Routledge, New York, 2008).
