I am currently studying for a PhD at the University of Plymouth. My research is inter-disciplinary, drawing on sociology, criminology, law and history, and seeks explanations for some significant developments in the legal regulation of alcohol from the Nineteenth Century onwards. My PhD research is funded by the Economic and Social Research Council.
