Susan M. Hodgson
Dr Susan M. Hodgson is Director of Research Training, based in the Department of Sociological Studies, University of Sheffield. As manager of, and teacher on, a range of research methods programmes, she has varied methodological interests. Her empirical work focuses on the study of scientific communities, gender and science, and environmental sociology.

Tom Clark
Tom Clark is a Graduate Teaching Assistant in the same department at the University of Sheffield. He has worked on a variety of projects concerning the utility of social research and is currently completing PhD work on the impact that research has on those who are researched. He has wider interests in methodological innovation and research ethics.
