Kathryn Almack
Kathryn Almack is a post-doctoral Research Fellow in the Sue Ryder Care Centre for Palliative and End of Life Studies at the University of Nottingham. Her doctoral research examines the meanings of motherhood and family life for women who planned and had their first child in a cohabiting same-sex relationship. Her research interests fit broadly within qualitative methodological issues and concerns and in the sociology of parenting and family lives; exploring ways in which people, in a range of circumstances, tell stories about family life and family practices.
