Jackie Goode
Jackie Goode studied Sociology and Social Administration at Newcastle University in the late '60s, trained and worked as a Probation Officer in the '70s, and trained and worked as a teacher in the '80s. She has been a full-time university researcher for the last fourteen years, working on projects in Sociology, Social Policy, Material Culture, Health, and Education. She is currently located in the Institute for Research into Learning and Teaching in Higher Education at the University of Nottingham, UK, where her research interests are in doctoral study and supervision, professional education, and reflective learning/practice.
