Azrini Wahidin
Azrini Wahidin is a Reader in Criminology and Criminal Justice at the Centre for Criminal Justice Policy and Research at the University of Central England in Birmingham. Azrini's research interest centres around imprisonment, elderly offenders, the sociology of the body, identity, later life and time. Her work has been disseminated widely at national and international conferences as well as in academic journals and in the media. She is on the Executive committee of the British Society of Criminology and co-convenes with Professor Julia Twigg, the BSA Ageing, Body and Society study group.
